Grilled Green Beans

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1½ tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Optional:

  • ½ tsp lemon zest or red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan or toasted almonds for garnish

 Instructions:

1. Preheat Pellet Grill:

  • Set to 375–400°F using applewood, pecan, or oak pellets for mild, smoky flavor.

2. Prep the Green Beans:

  • In a bowl, toss green beans with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

3. Grill the Green Beans:

  • Place beans in a grill basket, cast iron skillet, or foil pan.

  • Grill uncovered for 15–20 minutes, stirring once or twice, until slightly blistered and tender-crisp.

4. Serve:

  • Transfer to a platter, garnish with Parmesan, lemon zest, or chili flakes (optional), and serve hot.

Pro Tips:

  • Don’t crowd the pan — more surface area = better char.

  • Try tossing with balsamic glaze or crushed nuts after grilling for extra depth.

  • Also works great with asparagus or snap peas if you want to mix it up.
